Jayce Electrics & Engineering is a growing industrial and mining electrical contractor. We're looking for an
A-Grade Electrician from newly qualified through to 5 years post-trade
who wants to build real skills across
both site work and workshop-based switchboard construction
.
This role offers variety —
FIFO/DIDO work through the year
, combined with
hands-on workshop duties
building and testing industrial switchboards and control systems.
You don't need to know everything yet.

What you'll be doing
Industrial & mining electrical site works (FIFO & DIDO)
Workshop-based construction of switchboards, MCCs & control panels
Wiring, testing and fault finding of control and power circuits
Motors, pumps & industrial equipment installations
Reading and working from drawings and schematics
Interstate projects across SA, NSW, QLD, with occasional overseas work
This role is suited to you if you
Are
newly A-Grade up to 5 years post-trade
Want exposure to both
on-site work and workshop fabrication
Are keen to learn switchboard building, MCCs & control systems




Are comfortable with
FIFO/DIDO rosters and travel
Take pride in neat, compliant work
Want stability with long-term development
What you'll need
Current
A-Grade Electrical License
White Card
Driver's license
Manual driver's license OR willingness to obtain one
Willingness to travel for work (FIFO, DIDO, interstate & overseas)
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Good safety awareness and attention to detail
