The Role

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect / Lead Functional Consultant to act as a design authority across NetSuite implementation projects. This role is critical in ensuring high-quality, scalable, and best-practice solutions—bridging business needs with system capabilities while maintaining strong governance across multiple workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Quality Control & Governancen
n
Review and validate requirements gathered by functional consultants and business analysts.
n
Ensure requirements are complete, structured, and clearly defined.
n
Ensure requirements are testable and feasible within NetSuite capabilities.
n
Ensure alignment with business objectives.
n
Challenge and refine requirements to avoid over-customisation and scope creep.
n
n
Design Authority & Standardsn
n
Act as the functional design authority across projects.
n
Approve designs and enforce consistency and best practices across all workstreams.
n
n
Stakeholder Engagementn
n
Lead or support discovery workshops and process walkthroughs.
n
Translate business requirements into practical NetSuite solutions.
n
Provide clear guidance on system capabilities and limitations.
n
n
Delivery Support & Team Leadershipn
n
Guide and mentor functional consultants and analysts.
n
Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure alignment with design.
n
Provide clarity on complex functional scenarios.
n
n
Risk & Quality Managementn
n
Identify and mitigate risks related to requirements gaps, misaligned expectations, and solution complexity.
n
Proactively address issues to reduce rework and delivery risk.
n
n
n
Required Skills & Experience
n
n
Core Experiencen
n
5+ years' experience delivering NetSuite implementations.
n
Proven track record as a Solution Architect or Lead Functional Consultant.
n




Strong understanding of end-to-end ERP processes: Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Inventory / Manufacturing.
n
n
Functional & Technical Expertisen
n
Deep knowledge of NetSuite functionality and best practices.
n
Experience with SuiteFlow / workflows, saved searches and reporting.
n
Integrations (e.g. middleware such as Celigo – desirable).
n
Ability to balance functional design with technical feasibility.
n
n
Consulting & Communication Skillsn
n
Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
n
Ability to challenge constructively and influence decision-making.
n
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
n
Proven ability to translate complex requirements into clear, practical solutions.
n
n
Leadership & Governancen
n
Experience leading functional streams or full solution design.
n
High attention to detail with a strong quality focus.
n
Ability to operate as a design authority across multiple projects.
n
n
n
Qualifications
n
n
Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field (preferred).
n
NetSuite certifications highly desirable: NetSuite ERP Consultant, SuiteFoundation, SuiteCloud (advantageous).
n
