About the Role:

Join our team at CRU Galston Gorge as a Kitchen Supervisor (Kitchen Shift Leader)! You'll lead and supervise kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality meals for campers and guests. This hands‐on role includes food preparation, managing dietary needs, stock control, and maintaining safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise kitchen staff during busy service periods
n
Set the standard for teamwork, organisation, and food quality
n
Coordinate food preparation for large groups, including dietary requirements
n
Manage stock control, kitchen cleanliness, and food safety compliance
n
Support and train team members to perform confidently and efficiently
n

About You:

Demonstrates robust team leadership skills and leads by example
n
Is highly organised and can manage time effectively in a quick-paced environment
n
Has a genuine passion for cooking and commercial kitchen work
n
Is confident handling high volume food preparation and service

Communicates clearly and works well as part of a team
n
Is flexible and available to work weekends
n
Has a trainable, positive, and solution focused mindset
n

Trade qualifications and previous experience in camping, conferencing, or largescale catering settings are highly regarded but not essential.
