Lighthouse Furnishings is seeking an experienced Industrial Sewing Machinist to join our team in Seventeen Mile Rocks, Queensland. This is a casual role, offering flexibility and the chance to work on a variety of curtain and soft furnishings projects.

What you'll be doing

n

n
Operate industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality curtains, blinds, cushions and other soft furnishings
n
Perform finishing tasks such as hemming, edging and attaching trims
n
Ensure all work meets strict quality standards
n
Collaborate with the wider production team to meet deadlines
n

n

What we're looking for

n

n
Previous experience as an Industrial Sewing Machinist or Curtain Maker
n
Robust attention to detail and ability to work accurately
n




Competent in reading and interpreting technical specifications
n
Valuable problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
n
Familiarity with a range of industrial sewing machines and techniques
n
