What You'll Need

Mandatory:

White Card (General Construction Induction)
n
Current "C" Class Australian Driver's License
n

n

(Highly Desirable):

n

n
Possession of an MR or HR Truck Driver's License.
n
Plant operator tickets (e.g., Roller, Bobcat, or Backhoe).
n

n

Selection Criteria

n

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:

n

n
Ability to cope with daily physical labour. Evidence of completed training in manual handling, load restraint, and SWMS/safe work practices is highly regarded.
n
Demonstrated ability to safely operate small items of plant, including quick-cut saws and various power tools.
n




A proven track record of working effectively and collaboratively within a team environment.
n
Effective verbal communication skills to liaise with team members and ensure site safety.
n
Previous experience with road construction and maintenance labouring work will be a distinct advantage.
n
Demonstrated attitudes and behaviours that reflect and align with the Road Construction and Maintenance Branch workplace culture (safety, respect, accountability, and pride in our work).
