We are looking for an energetic and driven Assistant Store Manager to join our Melbourne Central store.

POSITION PURPOSE

n

As Assistant Store Manager you are responsible for effectively supporting the Store Manager in driving overall store and team performance by creating an exceptional customer experience, robust sales driving attitude, and a people first culture that prioritises succession and retention.

As an Assistant Store manager you will:

Create and maintain a people first culture that values development, collaboration, transparency, and open communication
n
Lead, coach and support the store team to achieve people, performance, planning, and operational goals
n
Provide regular and effective feedback that prioritises career development and internal progression in a professional and people first manner
n
Support the recruitment and induction processes to reduce turnover and ensure robust team development.

PERFORMANCE

Ensure team are delivering an exceptional customer experience using CLASS (selling steps)



and relevant customer service techniques
n
Primary point of contact and manager on duty on Store Manager's RDO and Annual Leave
n
Drive and maintain sales performance within the store in line with retail goals and KPIs
n
Utilise sales reports to identify commercial opportunities and take quick and decisive action
n
Conduct effective weekly store walks with the Store Manager to discuss store and team opportunities and develop actions
n
Ensure team are meeting customer sign-up KPIs in line with expectations
n
