Quality Coordinator - Food Manufacturing

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a proactive Quality Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in maintaining our food safety and quality standards across the bakery.

n

About the role

n

This is a hands-on quality role where you will work closely with production, operations, and technical teams to ensure products consistently meet customer, regulatory, and company requirements.

n

You will help maintain our HACCP and quality systems, support audits, investigate quality issues, and drive continuous improvement across the site.

n

Key responsibilities

n

n
Monitor and maintain HACCP, GMP, and food safety systems
n
Conduct production and quality inspections
n
Complete quality checks, verification activities, and record reviews
n
Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances
n
Coordinate corrective and preventive actions
n
Support internal, customer, and third-party audits
n
Assist with allergen management and environmental monitoring programs
n
Maintain quality documentation and records
n
Train and coach production staff on quality and food safety requirements
n
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve product quality
n

About you

n

You will be someone who enjoys being on the factory floor, solving problems, and working collaboratively with production teams.

n

You will ideally have:

n

n
Experience in a food manufacturing quality assurance or quality coordination role
n
Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, allergen management, and food safety standards
n
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
n
Good communication skills and the ability to influence others positively
n
Experience with audit preparation and compliance activities
n
A Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline (preferred)
