We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Farm Operator to join our compost farming operation. This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining equipment and property, and can work independently while following safe work practices.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Operate earthmoving machinery, including loaders, excavators, and other farm equipment.
n
Receive and distribute feedstocks for composts from businesses within the waste industry.
n
Process, move, and manage compost materials.
n
Slash grass and maintain paddocks, roadways, and surrounding grounds.
n
Carry out general farm maintenance, including repairs, cleaning, and upkeep of machinery and infrastructure.
n
Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
n
Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
n

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

Be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
n
Have experience operating earthmoving machinery safely and efficiently.
n
Be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
n
Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
n
Have valuable problem‐solving skills and a proactive attitude.
n
Hold a current driver's licence (essential).
n
Machinery tickets or previous experience in farming, composting, or landscaping will be highly regarded.
