The Company

Robert Half is currently recruiting for a hands-on Financial Accountant to join a growing business based in Richmond.

Commencing immediately, you will work closely with a talented and approachable CFO, playing a pivotal role to deliver key operational financial activities whilst contributing to ongoing process improvement initiatives.

This position is offered on an initial 3-month temporary contract and has the potential to transition to permanent employment, although not guaranteed.

The Role

Reporting to the CFO, your duties will be diverse to include:
Support month-end close, including journals, accruals, and prepayments
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
Assist with revenue recognition under AASB 15
Accounts Receivable management including invoicing, cash application, and aged debtor reporting
Bank Reconciliations
Billing analysis and data management
Contributing towards process and systems improvements,

Your Profile
Ideally CA/CPA qualified with proven expertise in month-end and year-end reporting.




You will need to be comfortable working in an autonomous role with hands-on involvement in day-to-day operational finance activities.
You will need to be able to demonstrate solid analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities
Previous experience with a well-known ERP system
You will need to be able to commence immediately.
