Job Description
Bolton Clarke Group one of Australia's largest independent, not-for-profit providers of home care, retirement living and residential aged care, operating nationally and internationally.
Bolton Clarke Residential group now has 88 Aged Care Homes across QLD, NSW, VIC, SA & WA, with the inclusion of the Allity, McKenzie & Acacia Living Group.
The Role: As the Care Manager, your responsibilities will expand across clinical governance, staff management, change management, AN-ACC and resident care.
Responsibilities
Commitment to ensuring the delivery of high quality and personalised care to all resident
Knowledge of the aged care sector, standards
Sound understanding of processes needed to respond to clinical and quality audits using the principles of continuous improvement.
Developing, monitoring and implementing nurse care plans + assessing, planning and evaluating existing care plans
Performing comprehensive assessments and investigating issues and incidents
Participating in and ensuring all compliance is adhered to in accordance with aged care standards and Bolton Clarke policies and procedures.
Actively supervising, training, and mentoring all RNs and PCWs
About You
Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
Experience within Aged Care Sector as Senior Registered Nurse or Clinical Nurse Leader (desirable)
Infection Prevention and Control Qualification (desirable)
Demonstrated working knowledge of current aged care standards, accreditation and auditing processes, and AN-ACC
Personal and professional commitment to delivering high quality care, the development of yourself and your staff, and the overall continuous improvement of the home
Solid leadership skills along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
Complete a police check and or a NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain) prior to commencement
