Business Analyst / Initiative Lead 6 Month Contract Brisbane

What You Will Do:

n

n
Lead minor initiatives from concept to closure, managing delivery schedules, risks, and project artefacts to ensure scope alignment.
n
Elicit, analyse, and document detailed business and technical requirements, creating Request for Approval (RFA) business cases.
n
Collaborate with Project Managers to formulate estimates, resource profiles, vendor deliverables, and cost models for funding approvals.
n
Partner with technical delivery teams, service providers, and vendors to ensure technical solutions match operational objectives.
n
Provide transparent status updates to leadership, proactively managing dependencies, deviations, and continuous process improvements.
n

What You Need to Apply for This Role:

n

n
3+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, ideally handling concept-stage deliverables and minor technical works.
n
Solid project management background with proven experience leading initiatives and coordinating cross-functional teams.




n
Solid technical aptitude with familiarity in systems design, technical specifications, and software development processes.
n
Proficiency with industry tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, Miro, Signavio, and the MS Office Suite.
n
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with energy industry experience considered highly desirable.
n
You must be a Brisbane based candidate with unlimited working rights to be considered.
