With continued growth across their Geelong facility, GT Recycling is expanding their production capability and now seeking dedicated Extruder Operators to join the night-shift team.

About the Role
n
As an Extruder Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining extrusion equipment used in the production of recycled plastic pellets. This role suits someone mechanically minded, safety-focused, and confident working with industrial machinery in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Operate, monitor and adjust extrusion equipment to ensure consistent product quality
n
Set and manage process parameters including temperature, pressure and feed rates
n
Conduct routine machine checks, cleaning and basic preventive maintenance
n
Troubleshoot operational issues and escalate technical faults where required
n
Maintain accurate production records and contribute to thorough shift handovers
n
Uphold safety, quality and environmental standards at all times
n
Maintain cleanliness and organisation around the extruder and production floor
n

What We're Looking For
n
n
Previous experience operating extrusion or similar manufacturing equipment
n
Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
n
Ability to interpret and adjust process settings
n
Demonstrated focus on workplace safety and following procedures
n
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently on night shift
n
Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
n
Experience in plastics, recycling or manufacturing environments (advantage)
n
Full-time, ongoing night-shift role
n
Reliable hours Monday-Friday
n
