We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to join our team in Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast, Queensland. This part time contract role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. As a key member of the travel and tourism industry, you will contribute to enhancing the overall guest experience through your attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
n
Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
n
Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas.
n
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
n
Assist with laundry duties as needed.
n
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a protected working environment.
n
Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries promptly.
n

Qualifications:
n
n
No formal education required; however, a secondary school certificate is preferred.
n
Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is an advantage but not essential.
n
Robust attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
Good communication skills and a friendly disposition.
n
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
