Join the team at Castle Air Conditioning as a full time Air conditioning 1st, 2nd or 3rd year Apprentice based in Cessnock, NSW. We are seeking 1st, 2nd or 3rd year apprentices. In this role, you will gain hands-on training and experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, working alongside an experienced technician to develop your skills and knowledge.

What you'll be doing
n

Assisting with the installation, servicing and repair of domestic, commercial and air conditioning and refrigeration systems
n
Learning how to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with air conditioning and refrigeration equipment
n
Developing practical skills in areas such as electrical wiring, pipe fitting, soldering and brazing
n
Maintaining a safe and organised work environment
n
Completing relevant trade-based training and obtaining industry qualifications
n

What we're looking for

Robust interest and enthusiasm for the air conditioning and refrigeration trades
n
Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
n
Good physical fitness and manual dexterity
n
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
n
A willingness to learn and undertake formal training
n
A valid driver's licence
