Position Summary

provide support to clients in accordance withtheir NDIS plan.
n
Assistclients with daily living activities, such as eating,dressing, bathing and grooming.
n
Provide transportation assistance to clients.
n
Provide respite care to clients and theirfamilies.
n
Keep accurate andup to date records or clients' care plans andprogress.
n
Communicateeffectively
with clients, their families, and other membersof the care team.
n
Followhealth and safety regulations to ensure the safety andwell-being of clients.
n
Participate in ongoing career development to staycurrent with latest developments and best practices in the NDISfield.
n
n
Requirements
n
n
A minimum of high school or equivalent.
n
Certificate 3 or 4 in individual supportor willing to work towards
completion(highlyregarded).
n




Previous experience working with mental health, or willing to work with one
n
Willingness to work with Child Safety Clients, previous experience is highly regarded!
n
With an active Blue Card (MANDATORY BEFORE START)
n
Day shift, night shifts, sleepovers andweekends.
n
Strongunderstanding
of the NDIS and its guidelines.
n
Understanding of health and safetyregulations.
n
Ability to workwith a diverse client base, understanding the differentsupport needs of clients based on their abilities,
culturalbackgrounds,
and language requirements.
n
Basic care and first aid skills.
n
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in microsoftoffice suite.
n

n
