Insane Performance is looking for an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our growing Rockhampton workshop.
n
We are not an ordinary mechanical workshop. Our team works on everything from late-model 4WDs and American trucks through to high-performance street cars, custom builds and competition vehicles.
n
With 2 Mainline dynos, including an AWD chassis dyno and a Pro Hub dyno, we offer a variety of work that is difficult to find anywhere else in Central Queensland.

The Role
n
Your work may include:
n
n
General mechanical servicing and repairs
n
Diagnostics and fault finding
n
4WD and diesel repairs
n
Suspension, brakes and driveline repairs
n
Turbocharger, intercooler and exhaust upgrades
n
Performance modifications and vehicle upgrades
n
Pre-delivery inspections and quality-control checks
n
Working alongside our fabrication and tuning teams
n
Accurately recording labour, parts and job information
n
n
About You
n
We are looking for someone who:
n
n
Takes pride in producing high-quality work
n
Can diagnose problems rather than simply replace parts
n
Is reliable, organised and able to work as part of a team
n
Understands the importance of cleanliness and presentation
n
Communicates clearly with the workshop and service team
n
Has a genuine interest in 4WDs, diesel vehicles or performance cars
n
Experience with late-model diesel vehicles, American trucks, diagnostics or performance modification work would be highly regarded, but it is not essential.
