Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 + per annum + 12% Superannuation

Porter House Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Taja Brasserie, located within the busy Shoalhaven Heads Bowling & Recreation Club. The venue is part of Porter House Hospitality Group's portfolio of club and hospitality operations across New South Wales.

This is an excellent prospect for a hospitality skilled who is passionate about customer service, team leadership, and restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
n
Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house staff.
n
Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a positive guest experience.
n
Manage staff rosters, labour costs, and daily operations.
n
Monitor service standards and maintain a high-quality dining experience.
n
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service delivery.
n
Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory management.
n




Ensure compliance with food safety, liquor licensing, WHS, and club policies.
n
Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally.
n

Essential Requirements

n

n
Minimum 5 years' experience in a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant Supervisor, or similar hospitality leadership role.
n
Strong leadership and team management skills.
n
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
n
Experience in busy restaurant, bistro, club, or hospitality environments.
n
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
n
Sound understanding of restaurant financials, labour control, and stock management.
n
Current RSA certification (or willingness to obtain).
n
Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
n
Full working rights in Australia.
