What would you do?

Greet all customers promptly and courteously
n
Maintain and increase agronomy and feed sales, grain origination and marketing with existing customers and grow business with new customers, as applicable.
n
Assist in all aspects of the elevator operations, if applicable to location.
n
Receiving and unloading grain operations.
n
Grain drying operations.
n
Measuring grain inventory on a weekly/monthly basis.
n
Grain train loading operations including cleaning and sealing cars.
n
Keeping facility clean, safe and housekeeping records current.
n
Maintain grain condition by testing temperatures and blending.
n
Assist in all aspects of the fertilizer and chemical operations, if applicable to location.
n
Measure inventory and report it to the supervisor.
n
Assist in unloading bulk and packaged product.
n
Provide customer service and loading chemical product orders.
n
Maintain and repair equipment as needed.
n
Pumping bulk chemicals into customer tanks.
n
Tender to applicators.
n
Fill NH3 nurse tanks during season.
n
Understand basic agronomy chemistry of all products.
n

Requirements
n
The ideal candidate will have:
n
n
Must have a valid driver's license.
n
Must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 100 pounds.
n
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
n
Understand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment.
n
n
Other skills that will help you succeed:
n
n
Be able to obtain a Class A CDL with air brake, tanker, and HazMat endorsements.
n
Participate in company DOT drug and alcohol program and maintain current DOT physical.
n
Positive computer skills.
