We are currently seeking an experienced Qualified Welder / Fabricator to join our client's team on a temporary basis.
Qualified Welder / Fabricator - Structural MIG Welder
About the Role
The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for structural MIG welding of anchor plate assemblies, including welding forged rings and lugs onto ***** mm steel plate.
All welding is completed in accordance with qualified welding procedures, so the successful candidate must be confident working to documented procedures and producing consistent, high-quality welds.
About You
Trade qualifications in Welding/Fabrication
Extensive experience in structural MIG welding
Strong experience welding heavy steel components
Experience working on qualified welding procedures and quality requirements
The ability to read and follow welding procedures and specifications




The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
A strong commitment to safety, quality and workmanship
Excellent attention to detail and consistency
Previous experience in a structural steel or heavy fabrication environment
