A well-established multi-disciplinary engineering and scientific consultancy delivering environmental, geotechnical, structural, and civil engineering solutions across Australia is seeking an Environmental Engineer to join its Sydney-based team.
n
The company's Environmental Engineering division brings together environmental scientists, engineers, certified environmental practitioners, and technical specialists, delivering a diverse range of consulting services across major infrastructure, commercial, and development projects.
n
Multiple opportunities are available across junior to senior levels, and engineers with relevant consulting experience are encouraged to apply.

The Role
n
This position offers a genuine mix of site and office-based work, supporting projects from initial assessment and investigation through to reporting, remediation advice, and project delivery.
n
You will work across a range of environmental projects, collaborating with clients, contractors, regulators, and internal technical teams to deliver practical engineering outcomes.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Conducting environmental site assessments and investigations
n
Completing contamination assessments, sampling, and monitoring programs
n
Preparing environmental reports, technical documentation, and remediation recommendations
n
Liaising with clients, contractors, regulators,
and project stakeholders
n
Supporting due diligence assessments, groundwater management, dewatering, and remediation activities
n
Managing multiple projects through various stages of delivery
n
n
About You
n
The ideal candidate will have:
n
n
A degree qualification in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
n
Experience within environmental consulting, engineering, or ground-related environments (mid-level through to senior)
n
Strong knowledge of site assessment, contamination management, and technical reporting
n
Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with clients and site teams
n
The ability to work effectively across both field and office environments
n
Availability to commence immediately or within a suitable timeframe
n
n
Project Exposure

You will join a team working across a strong and diverse project portfolio, including:

Major residential and commercial developments
n
Infrastructure and urban renewal projects
n
Environmental assessments and contamination investigations
n
Groundwater monitoring and management programs
n
Remediation and hazardous materials projects
