About the role:
n
You will work across a broad range of transactional banking, finance and financial services regulatory matters, including:
n
n
Acting for banks, lenders, borrowers, investors and corporate clients.
n
Assisting with business,



property and acquisition finance transactions.
n
Drafting and reviewing loan, security and related documents.
n
Supporting matters from the initial stages through to completion.
n
Conducting legal research and due diligence.
n
Advising clients on financial services and regulatory requirements.
n
Working closely with lawyers across corporate, property, restructuring and tax.
n
Managing client relationships and taking on greater responsibility as you develop.
n
n
The ideal candidate:
n
n
Approximately 1–4 years' post-qualification experience in a banking and finance team.
n
A robust academic record.
n
Excellent drafting, legal research and analytical skills.
n
Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify key legal and commercial issues.
n
Commercially minded, proactive and focused on delivering practical outcomes.
n
Confident building relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
