Our client is an established commercial contractor delivering a diverse range of complex projects across Queensland.

With a strong forward pipeline, the business is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to take ownership of major tenders and contribute to the continued development of its preconstruction function.
n
About the Role
n
You will manage competitive hard-dollar tenders from initial review through to final submission, working closely with internal stakeholders, consultants and the subcontractor market.
n
Key responsibilities will include:
n
n
Managing tenders from receipt through to final submission
n
Completing detailed take-offs, trade scopes and cost plans
n
Obtaining, analysing and levelling subcontractor quotations
n
Identifying commercial risks, exclusions and tender opportunities
n
Developing accurate preliminaries and project-specific pricing
n
Coordinating tender programmes, documentation and submissions
n
Participating in tender reviews and presentations
n
Maintaining robust relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
n




Supporting and mentoring less experienced estimating team members
n

About You
n
You will have:
n
n
Significant estimating experience with a commercial head contractor
n
A solid background in competitive hard-dollar tendering
n
Proven experience pricing complex commercial construction projects
n
Strong knowledge of trade packages, subcontractor procurement and market rates
n
The ability to independently manage multiple tenders and deadlines
n
Strong commercial judgement and attention to detail
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
n
Experience using Cubit or similar estimating software
n
