Mobile Diesel Motor Mechanic - Beelbangera / Griffith, NSW Kogan People Solutions are working in partnership with a highly reputable, long-established machinery and farm equipment servicing business operating across the Griffith and Beelbangera region. Due to ongoing demand, they are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Diesel Motor Mechanic to join their field service team.

About the Role
n
This full-time, ongoing role will see you operating in the field and workshop, utilising your diagnostic, repair, and overhaul skills across a broad fleet of heavy commercial diesel vehicles, agricultural equipment, tractors, and light utility machinery.

Location: Based in Beelbangera (close to Griffith), NSW
n
Tenure: Full-time, ongoing position
n
Remuneration: $80,000 to $85,000 + superannuation (negotiable based on experience)
n

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Field Service & Maintenance: Deliver first-rate mobile breakdown response, routine servicing, and scheduled maintenance to heavy diesel commercial vehicles, tractors, and agricultural plant across the regional client network.
n
Diagnostics: Identify complex mechanical, hydraulic,



and auto-electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
n
Major Overhauls: Perform field and workshop repairs, including diesel engine rebuilds,
transmission/driveline
overhauls, hydraulic system repairs, and component replacements.
n
Compliance & Safety: Strictly adhere to WHS standards, job-safety assessments (JSAs), environmental guidelines for fluid handling, and proper use of PPE.
n
Service Records & Client Care: Maintain transparent field service reports, manage job cards, and deliver professional, customer-focused service while representing the business on site.
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
n
n
Qualifications: Possess highly relevant trade qualifications (Certificate IV or agreed equivalent).
n
Experience: 1+ years of post-trade experience working on diesel engines, agricultural machinery, or heavy transport systems.
n
Autonomy & Drive: Proven ability to work independently in the field with strong time management, problem-solving skills, and a self-motivated mindset.
n
Licensing: Valid, unrestricted Australian Driver's License (HR license advantageous for road testing heavy vehicles).
n
References: Solid, verifiable professional references confirming high workmanship standards and reliability.
n
n
