About the Roles

As a Nurse Unit Manager, you will be responsible for delivering strong clinical and operational leadership within your specialty area. You will oversee the day-to-day management of your unit, ensuring high standards of patient care, staff engagement, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead and coordinate clinical and operational functions within Dialysis
n
Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to nursing and multidisciplinary teams
n
Ensure compliance with clinical governance, safety, and quality standards
n




Manage staffing levels, rosters, and resource allocation
n
Drive continuous improvement and patient-centred care initiatives
n
n
Essential Requirements
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
ANMAC
recognition/eligibility
n
Minimum 2 – 3 years' managerial experience in a healthcare setting
n
Demonstrated clinical experience in:n
n
Dialysis/Renal (for Dialysis NUM role)
n
n
Proven leadership capability in complex clinical environments
n
n
