About the Role
n
An exciting opportunity exists for a Grade 2 Rehabilitation Physiotherapist to join the Physiotherapy Department at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne. In this role, you will provide high-quality physiotherapy assessment, treatment and management to patients within the Rehabilitation Service at our Fitzroy campus. Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will deliver evidence-based, person-centred care to support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals and maximising their independence. In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will provide supervision and support to Grade 1 Physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants and Physiotherapy students, while contributing to leadership, service development and quality improvement initiatives across the department. Applications are welcomed from current Grade 2 Physiotherapists, or experienced Grade 1 Physiotherapists who are ready to take the next step in their career. Relevant postgraduate qualifications will be highly regarded. Classification: Grade 2 Physiotherapist (VB1–VB4) ($90,235 to $103,724 per annum, pro rata for part time).

Duties
n
n
Deliver high-quality physiotherapy assessment,
treatment and management for rehabilitation patients.
n
Develop and implement individualised treatment plans, including patient and carer education.
n
Communicate assessment findings and treatment outcomes effectively through documentation, handovers and multidisciplinary collaboration.
n
Provide clinical supervision and education to undergraduate and postgraduate Physiotherapy students.
n
Support and mentor Grade 1 Physiotherapists and Allied Health Assistants.
n
Contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice.
n
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Your Contribution
n
n
Current registration (or eligibility for registration) as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA.
n
Recent clinical experience and demonstrated knowledge of physiotherapy management within a subacute rehabilitation setting.
n
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
n
Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous quality improvement and professional development.
n
Experience supervising Physiotherapy students.
n
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
n
Relevant postgraduate qualifications are desirable.
