Corboy Thoroughbreds is currently seeking a highly experienced and capable Horse Trainer to join our team this is a full time and ongoing position.
Essential Skills Must have a minimum 2 - 3 years full time qualified experience in a similar role, or 2 years full time experience and a relevant qualification. In addition the following will be required:
Knowledge and experience of horse training and handling methods specific to Thoroughbred Racing
Experience in track work
Proven ability to train and educate young horses
Verbal and written communication skills of a level to take instruction and provide information
Ability to work in a team and independently
Knowledge of secure operation of all equipment and use of personal protective equipment The position will be full-time with the salary above award in the range of $77,500 - $78,500 + superannuation.
