We are looking for a highly motivated and experiencedSite Engineer (Civil)to join our team on large-scaleSolar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS)projects based inAustralia and New Zealand. The ideal candidate will have a strong background incivil construction and infrastructure works, includingsite grading, earthworks, road construction, drainage systems, foundations, equipment plinths, cable trenches, and structural concrete works, ideally with experience inutility-scale Solar PV, BESS, substations, or other large-scale infrastructure and energy projects.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Supervise and coordinate all civil construction activities on utility-scale Solar PV and BESS project sites.
n
Ensure civil works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and applicable HSE requirements.
n
Review civil drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and construction procedures prior to execution.
n
Monitor and supervise site grading, earthworks, road construction, drainage systems, foundations, equipment plinths, cable trenches, fencing,



and associated civil infrastructure.
n
Coordinate daily site activities with subcontractors, survey teams, consultants, client representatives, and other project disciplines.
n
Monitor construction progress, identify risks or delays, and implement corrective actions to maintain the project schedule.
n
Verify quantities, review subcontractor progress, and support preparation of progress reports.
n
Participate in inspections, quality control activities, and ensure compliance with approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
n
Resolve technical issues in coordination with engineering, construction, and quality teams.
n
Support project planning, site logistics, and interface management between civil, electrical, and mechanical works.
n
Ensure accurate as-built records and support project documentation and handover activities.
n
Promote and maintain a strong safety culture in compliance with company and project HSE requirements.

Qualifications
n
n
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
n
Minimum5 yearsof experience in civil construction of utility-scale Solar PV, BESS, substations, or other infrastructure projects.
n
Proven experience working on EPC construction projects.
n
Strong knowledge of earthworks, foundations, concrete structures,



drainage systems, roads, cable trenches, and site development works.
n
Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, layouts, specifications, and construction documentation.
n
Familiarity with international construction standards and quality control procedures.
n
Experience coordinating subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams.
n
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
n
Fluent English is required.
n
Willingness to travel internationally and work on project sites.
n

Preferred Experience
n
n
Experience on utility-scale Solar PV projects (50 MW+).
n
Experience supporting Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.
n
Experience with international EPC contractors.
n
Familiarity with Australian and/or New Zealand construction standards and regulations.
n
Experience working in multicultural and multidisciplinary project environments.
