Service and Installation Technician (Electrician)
to join our Mount Waverley team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Field Installations:
Plan and execute the independent installation and commissioning of our extensive range of material handling equipment.
Troubleshoot & Repair:
Apply your technical knowledge to diagnose, repair, and perform planned maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Manage Your Workspace:
Maintain a complete and accurate service vehicle inventory, ensuring compliance with tool, equipment, and vehicle maintenance.
Stay Compliant:
Accurately complete digital paperwork including worksheets, timesheets, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) sheets.
Collaborate:
Partner closely with internal departments to ensure seamless project delivery and exceed customer expectations. You must be able to effectively and productively engage with colleagues and other stakeholders.
Quality & WHS Oversight:
Ensure that the company's Quality, WHS, and Environmental systems/processes are fully complied with at all times.
Build Relationships:
Establish strong and effective relationships with key people within the organisation to continuously improve knowledge and awareness of Quality, WHS, and Environmental requirements.
Brand Representation:
Ensure that the company brand is positively and consistently communicated in accordance with the company's expectations and values.
What You'll Need to Succeed
We are looking for a self-motivated professional with strong troubleshooting skills and a background in field wiring.
Qualifications:
Trade Qualified Electrician with a current Australian-recognised electrical licence (or immediate eligibility to obtain one).
A valid Registered Electrical Contractor (REC) licence is mandatory.
Compliance: Demonstrated understanding and compliance with Australian standards and legislation relevant to the position.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands‐on experience in the service, repair, and/or installation of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment.
Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of electrical and mechanical theory, paired with a sound working knowledge of hydraulic systems. You must have the ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings/designs.

Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.Possess excellent customer relations skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting and addressing issues.
