About the Role
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Install, maintain and repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures.
n
Read and interpret electrical drawings, plans and specifications.
n
Diagnose electrical faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
n
Install switchboards, lighting systems, power outlets, circuit breakers and control systems.
n
Test electrical systems and components to ensure safety and compliance.
n
Carry out preventative maintenance and inspections.
n
Ensure all work complies with the National Construction Code, Australian Standards and Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
n
Use electrical testing equipment and specialised tools safely and effectively.
n
Liaise with clients, suppliers and other trades to complete projects on time.
n
Maintain accurate job records and report completed work.
n
n




Essential Requirements
n
n
A relevant trade qualification as an Electrician (or equivalent recognised qualification).
n
At least 2 years of relevant full-time work experience as an Electrician (or equivalent part-time experience).
n
Strong knowledge of electrical installations, maintenance and fault-finding.
n
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical diagrams.
n
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
n
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
n
