Commence Communications is a family business based in Yass that has been in operation across Canberra and the surrounding region for 12 years. We have been involved in major Government civil infrastructure projects around Canberra since our inception and have over 30 years experience.

We offer hydrovac, underground service locating and excavation to complete civil communications pit and pipe infrastructure projects and we are looking to expand to meet workloads.

We're growing and require Excavator Operators, Hydrovac Operators and civil crew members for telecommunications pit and pipe installation to join our team. Experience in pit and pipe installation around fibre optic cables is essential.

busy team in Canberra are encouraged to apply.

Required: Asbestos Awareness, OH&S; Whitecard, Silica and Confined Space tickets. Excavator Operator must have a minimum of 3 years experience with Verification of Competency (VOC) and be a hands on operator who is willing to work in a crew, not only in the machine.

HR Truck licence, Hydrovac Experience and service locating experience would also be considered an advantage.
