Job Description
Mono Constructions is a growing Sydney builder specializing in medium-density Class 2 apartments and commercial construction projects.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to lead tendering, pricing and cost planning across projects valued from approximately $5m to $35m.

The Role
n
You will manage tenders from initial review through to submission, working closely with the Business Manager, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and project teams.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n

Preparing estimates, tender submissions, trade budgets and pricing proposals.
n
Completing quantity take-offs and measuring builders quantities.
n
Reviewing drawings, specifications and D&C; documentation.
n
Obtaining and negotiating subcontractor and supplier quotes.
n
Identifying tender risks, cost impacts and opportunities.
n
Maintaining tender records, cost data and trade coverage.
n
Supporting handover to the project team after contract award.
n

About You
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
5+ years' senior estimating experience.
n




Residential and/or commercial construction experience.
n
Experience with projects from $5m to $35m.
n
Solid knowledge of D&C; and lump sum tenders.
n
Ability to read plans, drawings and specifications.
n
Experience using CostX or similar software.
n
Strong subcontractor and supplier negotiation skills.
n
A qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar.
