Cool Line Air Con Pty Ltd is a Melbourne-based air conditioning and refrigeration company specialising in the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of residential and commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Due to continued business growth, we are seeking a motivated and skilled Airconditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Install, maintain, service and repair residential and commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
n
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs using appropriate testing equipment and industry-standard procedures.
n
Install refrigeration pipework, associated electrical controls and system components.
n
Test, commission and ensure air conditioning and refrigeration systems are operating safely and efficiently.
n
Carry out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and manufacturer manuals.

Complete service reports and maintain accurate job documentation.
n
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and relevant Australian standards.
n
Provide professional customer service while working independently and as part of a team.
n

About You
n
n
A relevant trade qualification in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or an equivalent overseas qualification.
n
A minimum of two years' relevant experience in the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of residential and commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
n
Robust fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
n
Sound knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration principles and safe work practices.
n
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
n
The ability to work independently and manage workloads efficiently.
n
A current Australian driver's licence or the ability to obtain one.
n
