Job Description
Based in Arndell Park, our licensed Major Hazard Facility provides a comprehensive solution for hazardous and non-hazardous warehousing, inventory management and inbound/ outbound transport.
n
We currently have 2x positions open for Transport Allocators to join the team;
n
AM - Monday to Friday, 5am to 1pm
n PM - Monday to Friday, 12pm to 8pm
n
These are ongoing casual positions with temp-to-perm opportunities available for proven performers who display outstanding work ethics.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Process and confirm orders
n
Create load plans and scheduling for all runs including multi drop loads
n
Book 3rd party carriers on independent portals including interstate deliveries
n
Calculate sub contractor requirements and book accordingly
n
Manage pick-up requests
n
Manage chemical filling operations and chemical pump out allocations
n
Monitor driver's progress against schedules
n
Maintain induction registers
n
Customer service and enquiries
n
DIFOT investigations
n
Traceability & Accountability Investigations
n
Monitor daily fleet operations
n
Ensure COR and WHS is adhered to, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations - report on load weights and driver fatigue
n
Assist with fleet maintenance coordination, fleet inspections and compliance related tasks
n
Manage and maintain daily allocation spreadsheets to ensure accurate traceability of freight movements and operational activities
n
Mass management knowledge and maintenance
n
Identify and document fleet defects
n
n
Skills and Experience
n
n
Strong attention to detail, particularly with numbers
n
Ability to multi-task in a very quick-paced transport office
n
Ability to adapt to rapid changes as presented
n
High level of organizational skills and proven problem-solving
n
Awareness of government regulatory requirements, understanding of load compliance and driver fatigue requirements
n
Geographical knowledge of Sydney CBD and Regional NSW locations (preferred)
n
An understanding of transporting Dangerous Goods
n
Option of AM or PM shift
n
Ongoing casual position with temp-to-perm opportunities available for proven performers
n
