Based out of our Thomastown depot this role will be required to work interstate for 50% of the time on a roster but is not a full time FIFO position.

Star Drilling operates 18 drilling rigs from large sonic rigs to small geoprobes and we engage in a variety of drilling methods, auger, rotary air, rotary mud, diamond and sonic drilling.

What we need from you:
n
n
Has 3 years + above ground geotech and/or environmental drilling experience
n
Can work effectively in a team with a positive and proactive attitude
n
Lives in Melbourne or Regional Victoria
n




Physically fit and prepared for all drilling operation tasks
n
Committed to a high level of safety
n
Can carry out basic preventative maintenance and servicing of equipment and down hole equipment
n
n
n
At a minimum MR, prefer HR (manual) drivers license
n
Construction Industry Induction card
n
Drillers or Water Well licence (preferred)
n
Rail Industry Worker card (preferred)
n
A mechanical aptitude will be looked on favourably
n
Regular overtime and weekend work will be required.
n
Flexibility to work interstate (NSW, QLD, NT, SA) 50% of the time
n
Australian work authorisation with a valid work visa is required for this position
n
n
