Tasmanian Independent Retailers (TIR) is undertaking a whole-of-business digital transformation, and we're looking for an experienced Project & Change Manager to lead it. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll take our organisation from current-state systems through to a modern ERP platform — including digital commerce, customer self-service and warehouse mobility solutions — combining the discipline of project delivery with the people-side of genuine change adoption.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Lead a structured, well-documented evaluation and selection process for a new ERP platform, including digital commerce and warehouse technology components
n
Develop the business case, cost-benefit analysis and risk profile to support the system investment decision
n
Establish project governance, budget, timeline and risk management frameworks for the full two-year term
n
Oversee solution design, configuration, testing, data migration and cutover in partnership with the
vendor/implementation
partner
n
Lead implementation of customer-facing digital platforms, including B2B ordering and digital returns solutions
n
Lead implementation of warehouse mobility solutions, including tablet-based picking and digital task management
n
Build and execute a change management plan that drives genuine user and customer adoption — stakeholder engagement, communications, training and measured success
n
Plan and lead a post-go-live stabilisation period to resolve issues quickly after
implementationReport
regularly to the CEO, Board and project steering group on progress, budget, risk and decisions required

About You:
n
n
Proven experience leading ERP or major business system implementations, ideally end-to-end from selection through to go-live and stabilisation
n
Solid project management skills: scope, schedule, budget, risk and vendor management
n
Strong change management skills: stakeholder engagement, communications planning and training design and delivery
n
Formal certification and/or equivalent experience in project management and/or change management
n
Experience running vendor/system evaluation processes (RFPs or similar) and negotiating with implementation partners
n
Experience implementing digital commerce, customer self-service, warehouse management or supply chain technology solutions highly regarded
n
Excellent stakeholder and executive communication skills, including the ability to brief the CEO and Board
n
Ability to translate cross-functional business requirements into a coherent system and project plan
n
