We're hiring key roles within our Finance team at APD Global:

Our New Zealand team plays a key role in high-voltage transmission and distribution projects supporting New Zealand's energy transition.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Monitoring and controlling cost activities through project lifecycle
n
Supporting the implementation of project cost management programmes that provide an accurate reflection of project performance
n
Ensuring that cost reports are delivered on time and within the guidelines of the project controls processes and procedures
n
Developing project budgets in accordance with project estimate
n
Producing updates to project cost forecasts
n
Issuing project change orders/variations
n
Liaise with project management, project planning and others as required to ensure accuracy in project cost phasing and forecasting
n
Liaise with procurement, finance and time-capture functions, and third parties as required, to ensure accurate and timely capture of procurement, materials,
subcontract and labour manhour costs.
n
Ensure costs are allocated accurately in accordance with approved project cost
n
Assess and communicate cost and schedule impact of change notifications
n
n
What You'll Bring
n
n
Degree in relevant technical or business discipline or can be substituted by suitable industry experience.
n
Demonstrated experience with Earned Value Management
n
High attention to detail and solid interpersonal and communication skills
n
Contract administration exposure, including the practical application of AS standard forms of contracts
n
Intermediate to Advanced MS office skills (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and prior experience with SAP highly regarded.
n
Work on major transmission, distribution, and renewable energy projects across Australia
n
Play a key role in delivering smarter, more sustainable energy infrastructure
n
