We are seeking an experienced 30 Tonne Excavator Operator to work across civil construction, infrastructure, earthworks, drainage, and rehabilitation projects.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Operate 30T excavators safely across a variety of civil projects.
n
Use attachments including hydraulic rock breaker, GP, mud and trenching buckets, ripper, and tilt rotator.
n
Safely change attachments using hydraulic quick hitch systems.
n
Perform precision excavation, trenching, drainage installation, bulk earthworks, final trim, rock breaking, backfilling, loading, and material handling.
n
Operate safely on steep terrain, batters, embankments, and around underground services.
n
Complete daily pre-starts, routine maintenance, plant logbooks, and defect reporting.
n
Work effectively with ground crews while maintaining WHS and environmental compliance.
n

About the Candidate
n
n
Proven experience operating 30T excavators.
n
Experience with hydraulic rock breakers, quick hitch systems,



and tilt rotators.
n
Ability to operate safely on steep and difficult terrain.
n
Strong understanding of excavation safety and underground service protection.
n
White Card and current driver's license (HR license desirable).
n
Civil construction experience and strong safety focus.
n
VOC for excavator operations preferred.
n

Desirable

n
GPS machine control (Trimble, Topcon or Leica).
n
Final trim and detailed excavation experience.
n
Road and infrastructure construction experience.
n
Experience working around live services.First Aid, Traffic Management, Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets.
n
