AsanAutomotiveTechnician(MotorMechanic
–LightVehicle) at JAX Tyre & Auto Bowen Hills , you will be required to carry out the servicing and the mechanical duties in accordance with Australian industry standards and as specified by JAX Tyre & Auto Bowen Hills You need to identify and rectify vehicle faults focusing on
mechanicalsteering,
brakes,suspensionsandseasonaloil
service.

Occasionally as required, perform wheel alignment and conducting post alignment checks, road testing if required. Carry out the fitting,
balancing,repairsandgeneralservicing
oftyresandancillaryproducts
as directed if included in mechanical servicing package.

Salary between $75,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation

Task & responsibilities
n
n
Successfully repair all customer vehicles focusing on JAX Tyre & Auto Bowen Hills
coreproductsoftyres,wheels,
brakes,suspensionandassociated
vehicle services
n
Repair and replace worn and defective parts
n
Assembling and installing mechanical components
n
Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical components to diagnose issues
n
Inspect vehicle computer
n
Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles
n




Maintain parts inventory and cleanliness in the workshop
n
Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
n
n
Qualification & experience
n
n
Applicant will ideally hold relevant vocational or tertiary qualifications and must possess at least 1-Year of relevant employment experience
n
Demonstrated working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
n
Industry knowledge and safe work practices / OH&S;
n
Current drivers' licence of in the process of acquiring a driving licence
n
