Senior Project Officer – IT / Data & Systems
We're looking for an experiencedSenior Project Officerto manage and coordinate the implementation ofIT projects supporting a Data and Systems program of workwithin a large and complex technology environment.
This is acontract prospect through to 20 November, suited to someone with strong hands-on IT project delivery experience who can take ownership of day-to-day delivery across multiple initiatives.
You'll work closely with internal IT teams, subject matter experts, business stakeholders and external vendors to keep projects moving and ensure key outcomes are delivered on time and within budget.
Local Government experience will be highly regarded.
What You'll Be Doing




Manage and coordinate the implementation ofIT projects supporting the Data and Systems program of work.
Manage day-to-day delivery across multiple concurrent projects and initiatives.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones and reporting.
Coordinate internal IT teams, subject matter experts, stakeholders and external vendors.
Manage project interdependencies to ensure priority initiatives remain on track.
Monitor budgets, resources and deliverables to support successful project outcomes.
Identify and manage project risks, issues and dependencies, developing appropriate mitigation strategies.
