Key Responsibilities
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults across a variety of vehicle makes and models
Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs in line with manufacturer specifications
Conduct engine, transmission, brake, and suspension repairs
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues accurately
Inspect vehicles and provide clear, professional assessments of required work
Maintain detailed service records and documentation
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient workflow
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop setting
Skills and Experience
Relevant trade qualification in Automotive Mechanics (Certificate III or equivalent)
Proven experience as a motor mechanic in a workshop environment
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Experience with modern diagnostic equipment and systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Effective communication skills
Valid driver's licence
Desirable Attributes




Experience with European vehicles (BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz)
Air conditioning (A/C) certification
Hybrid and electric vehicle experience (advantageous)
Roadworthy inspection certification (where applicable)
