Position Criteria
Qualifications to teach English Stages 4-6 with Stage 6 Society and Culture an advantage
Strong knowledge of explicit teaching and evidence‐based approaches to English teaching and learning
Ability to differentiate and cater for diverse student needs to maximise learning
Solid understanding of effective learning environments, lesson design, technology use, assessment and feedback
Commitment to ongoing professional growth and continual improvement of practice
Collaborative, creative team member who sets high expectations for self and students
Able to inspire and motivate students to achieve and develop a love of learning.
Qualifications, Accreditations and Experience
Tertiary Qualification in Education (or fourth year student)
NESA Accreditation (Conditional Accreditation also accepted)
Statements of Service
Commitment to meeting CSPD's Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead requirements as part of employment
