The Seaview Tavern - 4 Boy (NSW) PTY LTD We are looking for a full-time Cook with at least 2 years' experience to join our team. The successful applicant is expected to join our large team to facilitate food service in a fast-paced high volume Hotel restaurant in Woolgoolga. Overview

Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
n
Preparing food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
n
Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
n
Stock taking and ordering food supplies.
n
Assisting the Head Chef with their daily tasks.
n
Supervising & training other kitchen staff.
n
n
Responsibilities
n
n

Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces).

Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.

Liaising with Head Chef and FOH staff to ensure food preparation & meal services run smoothly.
n
Oversee meals as they are prepared to ensure appropriate quality standards.
n
Comply with nutrition, hygiene and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
n
Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers.
n

Requirements
n
n
Proven cooking experience.
n
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
n
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
n
Familiar with industry's best practices.
n
n
