This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor or People & Culture skilled ready to take the next step into a broader leadership role. About the Role
n
Reporting to the Manager People & Culture, you will coordinate the day-to-day delivery of People & Culture services across the organisation, ensuring consistent,
high-quality support to leaders and employees.
n
You will provide leadership and coordination across:

People Business Partner
n
Learning & Development Officer
n
Talent Acquisition Officer
n
Administration Officer - People & Culture
n
n

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Coordinate the operational delivery of the People & Culture function.
n
Mentor and support a multidisciplinary HR team.
n
Provide expert advice to managers on complex employee and industrial relations matters.
n
Lead workforce planning, recruitment and organisational capability initiatives.
n
Oversee Workers Compensation, Return to Work and wellbeing programs.
n
Ensure compliance with employment legislation, Enterprise Agreements and Council policies.
n
Build strong relationships with Executive, senior leaders, employees, unions and external stakeholders.
n
Drive continuous improvement across HR systems,
processes and service delivery.
n
Prepare workforce reports, insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Industrial Relations or a related discipline.
n
At least five years' experience in a senior Human Resources or People & Culture role.
n
Strong knowledge of Employee Relations, Industrial Relations and employment legislation.
n
Experience leading or coordinating multiple HR functions.
n
Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
n
The ability to influence leaders and build trusted relationships.
n
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
n
Experience within Local Government or another highly regulated environment will be highly regarded.
n
