Job Description

As a Senior Manager in Business Services, you will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of private clients and SME groups, acting as the primary relationship lead. Your role will be a blend of technical review, advisory, and people leadership, with support from capable senior accountants and intermediates.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Managing and reviewing business services and tax compliance work
n
Acting as the main client contact, providing trusted advisory support
n
Mentoring and developing senior and intermediate accountants
n
Working closely with partners on workflow, resourcing, and client strategy
n
Contributing to process improvement and practice growth initiatives
n
n
This is a hands‐on manager role with strong admin and team support, allowing you to focus on high‐value work rather than volume processing.

You Will Ideally Have
n
n
CA or CPA qualification
n
7+ years' experience in Australian public practice (Business Services / Tax)
n
Proven experience managing client portfolios and reviewing team work
n
Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with business owners
n
A collaborative mindset and interest in long‐term career progression
n
