Swan Hill District Health is seeking a Registered Midwife to join the Maternity ward at Swan Hill District Hospital in Victoria.
This is a 14-week contract position running from 31 August to 4 December ****, offering an opportunity to deliver care in a busy maternity setting.
The successful candidate will be a dual-registered midwife with Level 3 FSEP training, bringing clinical expertise and a commitment to supporting women and families through pregnancy, labour, and the postnatal period.

Based at Swan Hill District Hospital, Victoria
Preferred Requirements
Current dual registration as a Registered Midwife and Registered Nurse




Level 3 FSEP (Female Sexual and Reproductive Health) training or equivalent
Demonstrated experience in maternity care, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal settings
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills in a rapid-paced maternity environment
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with women and families
Preferred Qualifications
Current AHPRA registration as both a Registered Midwife and Registered Nurse
Level 3 FSEP training or recognised equivalent qualification
Current CPR and emergency life support certification
