The Royal Melbourne Hospital Mental Health Service (RMH MHS) is committed to Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB), trauma-informed, recovery-focussed mental health service delivery. This role works across the service to ensure Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander consumers receive culturally safe, responsive and accessible care.

This position provides advanced clinical expertise, cultural leadership and system-level influence, supporting workforce capability, improving service access and strengthening partnerships with Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations.

Your new role:
n
n
Deliver specialist SEWB-informed assessment, formulation and intervention for consumers with complex needs
n
Provide secondary consultation and clinical advice to multidisciplinary teams
n
Provide culturally safe welcoming, engagement and care planning
n
Deliver cultural consultation, workforce training and reflective practice
n
Strengthen pathways and partnerships with Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations
n
Support development of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workforce
n

About you:
n
n
You identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
n
You have extensive experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
n
Advanced clinical skills in mental health assessment, formulation and intervention
n
Understanding of Social and Emotional Wellbeing and culturally safe care
n
Experience in clinical leadership, consultation and workforce development
n
