We are currently seeking three Civil Workers to join a Local Government Operations team commencing mid-August ****.
n
This is a great opportunity for a reliable, hardworking individual with a civil, construction or outdoor labouring background to secure ongoing work within a supportive council environment.

About the Role
n
Working as part of the Operations team, you will assist with a range of civil maintenance activities including:
n
n
General civil labouring duties
n
Road, drainage and infrastructure maintenance
n
Operating machinery and equipment where required
n
Manual handling and physical labour tasks
n
Following work schedules and instructions from supervisors
n
Working safely as part of a team
n
n
About You
n




To be successful, you will have:
n
n
Current HR licence or higher (essential)
n
White Card
n
Previous civil, construction or operating experience (highly regarded)
n
Experience with earthmoving equipment or additional tickets (advantageous)
n
Strong work ethic and reliability
n
Ability to undertake physical manual labour
n
A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team
n
n

$***** per hour + super (Level 3.1 inclusive of casual loading)

9-day fortnight roster
n
Hours: 6:30am – 3:30pm
n
Local Government workplace
n
Initial 3-month casual assignment with potential for extension
n
