Qualified Carpenter — Custom Modular Building (Factory + Onsite)

ComfyPod are looking for a qualified carpenter to join our custom modular building team.
n
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same — you'll move between factory production (building modules from the ground up) and onsite
installation/finishing
(fit-off, detailing, problem-solving.
n
What you'll be doing
n
Factory-based carpentry: Timber wall framing, external cladding installation, internal fix outs
n
Interpreting plans and specs, setting out accurately, maintaining high finish standards
n
Onsite installation and finishing: modules, internal/external fit-off, final detailing ready for client handover
n
Working alongside other trades and the wider team to keep builds moving smoothly
n
Spotting issues early and helping solve them practically and safely
n




What we're looking for
n
Trade qualified carpenter (Cert III Carpentry or equivalent)
n
White card and drivers license required
n
Must hold a current car licence
n
Proven experience in carpentry—ideally in modular, residential, commercial fit-out, or high-end finishing
n
Minimum 4-6 years of carpentry experience required
n
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
n
Motivated team player with a great attitude and strong communication
n
Able to work independently, manage time well, and adapt to changing tasks/sites
n
