An opportunity has arisen to appoint a suitably qualified multi skilled
ProductionSupervisor
and Assistant Production Supervisor reporting to the Operations and Production Manager to join and assist lead our manufacturing team based in Mickleham Victoria.
n
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in production
management/supervision
with a focus on bacon and ham production in raw area so experience in smallgoods manufacturing highly desirable.
n
The candidate be available to work on a flexible roster when required which may include weekends.
n
The successful applicant will also possess:-
n
Experience with trouble shooting and problem solving
n
The flexibility in regards to working hours which will include working weekends
n
Able to work with raw pork and other proteins




n
The expertise and right attitude to contribute effectively to the Manufacturing Team with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
n
Ability to assist the Operations Manager with people management and training
n
Promote and assist to monitor quality and safety standards
n
High level of numeracy and literacy skills to assist with manufacturing reporting
n
Permanent Residency Status
n

Previous food industry experience and knowledge of food manufacturing and meat manufacturing equipment would be a distinct advantage.
n
