We are looking for a Digital Content Adviser to help deliver clear, accessible and engaging digital content across our websites and intranet.
n
You'll work with subject matter experts and content editors across the department to ensure content is accurate, user-focused and meets Victorian Government digital standards.
n
What you'll do
n
Review, edit and publish high-quality digital content across web and other channels
n
Ensure content meets accessibility, usability and Victorian digital standards
n
Build capability in others by providing advice and guidance to content authors
n
Use analytics and insights to continuously improve content performance
n
You're a collaborative, solutions-focused digital professional with:
n
Experience creating and reviewing content for websites or digital channels
n
Strong skills using CMS platforms, such as Squiz Matrix, SharePoint and Drupal
n
Knowledge of accessibility and digital content standards
n
A passion for improving the user experience and delivering customer-focused outcomes
n
Ability to work in a energetic, creative, and collaborative environment, often within challenging timelines
n
Sound knowledge of and experience working in government highly regarded
n
Specialist/Technical
Expertise/Qualifications
n
Strong working knowledge of editing websites and using content management software including Squiz Matrix and SharePoint. Also, Google Looker Studio, Google Analytics, Canva, Asana, and MS Office.
n
Experience in digital communication, reviewing content for websites or other digital channels.
n
Contemporary knowledge of Victorian digital standards and accessibility guidelines.
n
Sound knowledge of and experience working in government highly regarded.
n
This is a fixed term position available for a period of 12 months. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
n
